We believe this cancellation policy strikes a balance between firm and fair; firmly protective of the limited hours in which we can work with students while acknowledging that circumstances may occasionally prevent a student from attending their regularly scheduled session. We believe the vast majority of our students will never be charged a cancellation fee with this policy. It helps to serve all students by ensuring that our busiest times aren’t overbooked with last-minute cancellations or absences.

| Families are required to provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations of tutoring sessions. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the session’s fee. This fee will be waived for a student’s first cancellation in each calendar year. After three cancellations, one-on-one students may forfeit their regularly scheduled session time. | Families who have signed up for a study group have committed to a weekly day and time for the group session. In order to respect the schedule of all participants, group sessions will only be rescheduled if two or more students in a group are unable to attend the regular session. Students who are absent for their group session will incur an absence fee equivalent to 50% of the session’s fee. This fee will be waived for a student’s first missed session in each calendar year. After three missed sessions, group students may forfeit their position within the group. |
